My Favorite Things

One of my very favorite songs in the whole wide world is the John Coltrane version of  “My Favorite Things”…so I’ve decided to share with you a small gaggle of my own favorite things.

Odyssey StorytellingIs a magical local endeavor celebrating it’s 10th year anniversary of sharing stories by local artists, writers, eccentric characters, and just plain regular folks who have a true story to tell. Shows are usually the first Thursday of the month at The Screening Room, in exciting Down Town Tucson. Shows begin at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6:30. PaperWorks, the Tucson based Sonoran Collective of Book and Paper Artists: This is my favorite local group of wonderful artists dedicated to art making. I love the monthly speakers, fabulous workshops, and the just plain fantastic  friends I’ve made through this great organization. The Sonoran Collective for paper and book artists provides educational and creative opportunities for all who work with and on paper, and promotes the appreciation and enjoyment of the paper and book arts through regular and special events.
