October Was Amazing! See What You Missed!

I love giving classes at The Creative Cottage because I love the very cool, crazy-creative dames who come to play & create together in a spirit of love and encouragement–AND we have a BLAST…and, did I mention there are SNACKS? Please have a peek at some of October’s peak moments!

Here’s where the magic happens:

My Studio is full of fun things!

We had some amazingly fun adventures in October…in my Pocketful Of Dreams class Kathy Mc., Kathy A., & Polly R. up-cycled and re-cycled pockets from a variety of colorful clothing, adding their own unique embellishemnts! The pockets were made to hold a handful of handmade dream cards to remind us that what we wish for is possible!

Take a look at their beautiful creations:

And in my Outrageously Cool Rag Ladies class Thea, Kathy M., Marnie, Merrill, and Karen created very funky impressionistic rag dolls with their own personality and style. These are soooo cute! Rag Cat

And, in the midst of my wonderful Word Weaver classes for creative writers, my work with “at risk” pre-teen girls in the Girlz With HeART project, and making my own art, my bestest friend Marnie Ehlers hosted a Day of The Dead charm and pendant class–and did we ever create a dysfunctional family!      Check out Marnie’s website at: www.goodmusedesigns.com or her blog at: marnieismymuse.com/dysfuctional-family-photo/to read more about it!

Here, to top of a beautiful autumnal month at the Creative Cottage is our family of Day of The Dead charms made by Karen, Sandy, Berta, Marnie, and Kaitie!!!

Hope you enjoy them and will pop by in November for some fun of your own!!!

Happy Autumn!!!

  1. I always have so much fun at the Creative Cottage! It was a blast instigating “day of the dead” creativity. I can’t really even call it teaching because the participants are such awesome, artistic divas!

  2. O Marnie~It was such a FUN class! We had a blast adding all your cool doodads and trinkets to our polymer clay creations. And what a beautiful dysfunctioal family of crazy Day of the Dead creatures we made! Thanks for giving us such a fun day of creativity and laughter! You ROCK Marnie!
